Passage Necessities
Some important things that we need to do while reading a passage are:
Stating evidence,
Taking Notes,
Highlighting.
Underlining,
And more. This is important because you can show your work, state the evidence, and understand the story. A good reader has a talk with passage. For example: you could ask questions or try to connect with passage. Just like how an adult drives a car and stops, when we are reading, we should stop and think about the passage.
Good Readers STOP and then jot. It is all about what they wonder, what they think, what they feel, what they connect to, and what the character thinks. This helps the reader to be able to connect with the story and answer the questions.
